Received in the post today a MB notebook "To recount your experiences. Plan your moves. Collect your thoughts.........
I am Mercedes-Benz."

Any one else got one?

I'm expecting an invoice for my last service & ATF change....

I did receive a text message yesterday inviting me and a guest to a "Our celebration evening at Mercedes-Benz of Swansea" but no note book :-(

Maybe you could use it to make a note of faults as they pop up.
Mine seems to have so many at the moment that I'm thinking of setting up a database

Funny enough I was thinking along those lines!:D

Faults?

Faults JBerks, what do you mean? I thought yours was of the age of massive improvement and reliability

So did I.
Aside from a minor esp sensor that was replaced last spring, she's been running perfectly for the last 18 months. A few weeks ago I started getting random speedtronic errors on the dash (cc dropped out and no speed limiter) but she was <1k off a service so I thought I leave it. This week (admittedly now showing 150 miles overdue) I found myself increasingly turning up the heater and still feeling cold. After deciding that it wasn't me, I banged both sides up to full hot and ... lots of freezing cold air came out. I was near the dealer so I went in. The tech had a fiddle around and said he couldn't immediately see what was wrong with the heater but had noticed that my power steering pump is p..sing fluid all over the engine bay. Oh Joy.
(to be fair the steering was fiddled with by the dealer a couple of years ago so I can't blame the factory)
Anyway - she's going in on Tuesday. I don't imagine she'll be back Tuesday night....

On the upside, I bought an extended warranty when I got the car so it won't be costing me anything. I've asked them to go through it with a magnifying glass so see if there is anything else we need to look at before the warranty expires.

Following on from the notebook this morning I received a PC game from MB.
It appears that I can test drive a CLC through the streets of London.
Unable to play the game yet as I only use Macs and do not own a Windows based PC.:(
