I have a 1988 190D which has a squeaky thrust arm and worn rear bearing. Could anyone recommend a mechanic in the Glastonbury or Somerset area, preferably a MB specialist.

You could try Cornerstone Garage in Illchester, they serviced my C250 when I was working in Yeovil.

I have used both Cornerstone at Ilton and MBS at Exeter and found them both to be very good.
