MBO Windscreen Badge Competition

Many MBO and forum members would like to see a forum badge produced for the front windscreen of their Mercedes-Benz. With this in mind we feel that you as forum members would be the best to come up with ideas, and this is why we would like to invite those budding artists to create a badge.

The MBO team along with the Mods will select a winner. The winner’s badge will become the official badge and will also receive a full 12 months membership to the MBO along with a £30.00 voucher for www.minimodelshop.co.uk

The badge must include: www.mercedesclub.org.uk and the logo (see below)

Dimensions: 80mm (8cm diameter)

Please note that the three pointed star logo must not be used (as part of Daimler Group copyright rules)

Winning entries will be announced at the end of July 2011.

I wonder whether we could adopt the colour and font of the ''laurals'' badging without contravening any possessory rights? I would not have anticipated a problem.
However, I am not the designer here.

I am not presuming to be in this competition so it seems to me that GreyCLC might be able to ''tweak'' his design by taking, or otherwise, suggestions from elsewhere. So apart from colour and font I ask another question......would a telephone number be beneficial?.......maybe nobody reads these things so possibly aesthetics overrides content?

The problem with just using this logo it doesn't say what it is/ who we are or include a website address/ contact number.
