mbss alarm

hi,
i don't know if this is in the right section so if not please move.
i recently purchased a genuine MB alarm system to replace mine as it some times messes about, the part number is Q35001121,
the only problem is it is slightly different to my existing one and there are no fitting/wiring instructions,
so my question is can any one supply fitting instructions so i can replace mine?

Hi,
What year is your car?
Your car what type of key does it have?
Up to 1997 the alarms were Scorpion and made for MB and were fitted either by the importer or by the supplying UK dealer as an accessory.
What parts are in the new alarm kit?
Your old alarm, what problems have you been having? as you say they can play up, make sure you that your both red & green L.E.D.'s in the mirror are both working and the ones in the drivers door, as just one of these L.E.D.'s can cause the alarm to play up.

it is made by scorpion.

It a bargain but not sure it fit your W202. You have to compare like with like. It looks like that the first version MBSS.

It doesn't look like the MBSS 2a that I got. You didn't tell us the year of your car, we can't help you can we?

You will find the security module either under the passenger foot panel or above the steeing column. If they are different then you bought the wrong part.

Dragon read the AD it says he has a system as well for a w202, anyway i thought you would be looking at this system for spares for yours, as you are always complaining about it.
