Me clocks not gone back.?

My 2011 c207 clock has not gone back on its own, I'm sure it did last year, as l definitely don't remember altering it manually, it also went forward on its own this year, but so far today its not gone back on its own, any ideas.

normal cars would just pull a signal off the radio, some Mercedes with built in sat nav try to use this, so if your car gets the time and date info from satellites it could be 1) its in a garage and can't see the world 2) more likely, the epoch issue affecting many sat nav devices has screwed it.

they run in 19 year cycles, later Mercedes that got the latest software update available in Dec 2018 ended up with a new secret menu where you can select the epoch the car is to work within

in Aug 2019 the epoch we had been using for last 19 years ended, if you car doesn't understand this then it would explain why your clock has lost the plot. A quick test would be to see what date the car thinks it is... if it says March then one this old is probably just broken, if it was 2017 or newer I'd suggest a software update at the main dealership

christ.. must rush out to check mine ! not.. i just happy enough if all the cheap sensors pass on the required signal in as/when they should. i was going to type as designed but i aint sure about the design aspect .

Sorted mine. It was set to Germany and manual setting .... now set to auto in UK

After reading about Niall's lovely E400, I was getting worried . My 2010 207 always used to do it as soon as I started her up.

Just stick it on Radio 2 for a bit , that normally sorts the clock change

Mine is sync'd to something, as it's bang on the time pips. But it never does the hour change.

Someone on here who used to have exactly the same car as me, said their's did change. Weird.

before getting excited and or using auto I would strongly suggest you check the date

if the data is correct - that's a good thing and you should be able to use UK region and Auto daylight saving
if the date is 6 months behind (and each time you manually change, as you go straight back in setting menu to check its lost the plot again) I would strongly suggest you take it off auto before the digital clock and the analogue one gets muddled

if you are stuck with a messed up date you can use UK region in the winter and daylight saving off, come the summer use any CET country again with the daylight saving off

The old 500 did it automatically and the SLK is automatically reset
