If the engine didnt turn over, first thing to check is the battery, and as you have had previous problems starting its possible the battery may not be fully charged, as for the diesel leaks this would also cause starting problems..., If your hubby aint mechanically minded.. are you a member of any of the motoring organisations AA or RAC, these guys will be able to give you a few pointers.. and some of the teccie guys on here will be along..

Thanks for getting back to me!!! lol no my hubby doesnt know a thing about cars but we need to get it towed 2moro asap, not with the AA or RAC Im just looking around at the mo for a mercedes machanic or someone who worked with mercs before but theres not many, dont really want to bring it to mercedes itself its very pricey, but i know he eventually got it started yesterday the problem only starts if its a really cold out.But before all the problems in the mornings he said the car had seemed like it lost abit of its power as well......

The worrying problem is the diesel leak, it will most likely be the cause of all your problems.. there will be someone on here who will know of someone near you..

Steve at SPR Autos is more than familiar with Mercs. He has done good things for my C220. Tel no: 0161 480 6095 (Portwood, Stockport).
Good luck.

Was an E300TD, now a Lexus LS400
Greenvale in Whitefield is another option. I would put money on a leaky pipe or seal around the fuel pump, drawing air in.

I bet if you parked the car nose down overnight, it would fire up in the morning.
