Merc 300E P reg

Thinking of buying a non turbo merc 300E diesel, anyone know what mpg I am likely to get? and is there anything to look out for or know problems?

MPG is around 30 a little on the slow side, what model are you buying

From your description of the car and your location it sounds like you may be talking about the one located in Southsea advertised in Autotrader? If so I think you will find it has been sold.

The model I am looking at is an E300 classic diesel auto, It has got 140k on the clock and was owned by Mercedes uk, so it has full service history.
Its being sold at a friends car sales lott , he bought at an auction somewhere near Birmingham.
It is in a1 condition but as Malcom say its bit slow , but I'm not a fast driver and want to tow a caravan.

Go for the turbo version. Seriously, the NA is slow as anything.
