Merc C180

Hi
I own a mercedes C180, M reg (1994), elegance. Recently i have had a very
distressing problem. My centre console panel(where the heating instruments
are)
lights keep flashing and there is hot air coming out of the air vents, even
though the heating is switched off. Whats wrong?! Please help. I would
appreciate it if you or someone who knows can e-mail me back.

If i remember rightly, i think Steve Perry had a similar problem to this on his C240.

have a search for all posts for Steve to see what comes up

The last one I had with this problem. Required a new heater panel.

which diff oil for 190e-1993??

:?:i am hoping to do an oil chane onthe diff of my car-has 113 k on the clock,i need to know the spec of the oil i need to use.
(the stealership isunhelpful and unable to give a clear answer on this)

also,any tips would be helpful.

could i use a 80w/90 spec diff. oil mineral based oil?

what are the pros and cons of using a 75w/90 semisynthetic diff oil?

would welcome any comments from your experiences.
