Hi
I'm currently running a (late 95) N-plate Audi 80TDi Avant with 127,000 miles on the clock. Most servicing has been carried out by myself over last 5 years, apart from timing belt changes. It's a great car and still retains looks with gearbox still feeling like new. But to cut a long story short - I want to upgrade to something with a bit more presence, power and space!
Does anyone have an experience of Merc C220 diesels, points to look for, etc. Fuel consumption, auto or manual, torque, etc. Ideally I don't want to spend much more than say £8,000 tops. What's that buy me - say a (97) R-plate with 60/70,000 miles and FMSH?
Any advice greatly appreciated.
