MERC CL500 - Command System no sound.

Hi all

My Command system has stopped allowing any sound to come out! Was playing one second then the next it just stopped and havent had any sound for 3 days....driving me mad.

Has anyone got any quick fixes? The command system still seems to work, but it is showing no CDC when i try and select the CD player. The radio still picks up all the channels as does the TV however there is no sound from these either. The voice activcation stick also appears to ne inactive now.

Any ideas, really want to get this sorted.

CDC is controlled via the canbus from the cd changer in the boot. The audio is driven via canbus from the audio gateway...also in the boot.
Id say that if both have failed there is a problem either in the boot, or at the canbus connection at the back of the command unit where they both communicate back. Possibly the cdc and agw are on the same fuse but I doubt it (worth checking though). Dous sound like a canbus issue though.
Best bet is to contact Alfie though - he's the expert.
