Merc-land in nuneaton.....any good?

These guys have 2 cars I'm interested in and only 5 miles from me, a 2011 e350 and a e500

Any good or bad feedback on this place?

I personally haven't bought from them but have often visited their website when searching - someone I know has and their view was the cars they retail are pretty good ones and descent priced - I don't know what their after sales is like but haven't heard anything negative.

I cant see any E500's on their site and the only e350 is a 2010 convertible or 2011 estate - are you after a saloon, wagon or rag-top?

I know of a good E350 Diesel saloon if you are looking for one.

They have an excellent reputation amongst members here. I personally bought a car from them many years ago and was happy.. More recently l placed a deposit on a car but withdrew after some confusion about availability, but the deposit was refunded without any difficulty.

They are always recommended as a good regional MB Specialist. If you had to buy a second hand MB they certainly know what they are selling because they fix Mercs

I do like the estate but would consider a saloon. Details please buddy

It was there yesterday, a 2011 black saloon,looked really nice

Never used them but seen them mentioned here many times over the years and mostly positive. That said out of curiosity I just looked at the google reviews and they are a mostly positive, reading between the lines the negative reviews are by people with a somewhat illogical approach and the rebuttal from the owners make sense.

There is nothing better than using your intuition here, pop down and have a chat, look at the cars, have more of a chat and ask if yourself if you happy doing business with them if they are so local.

If the car is good, ticks al the boxes and the ONE you want at the right price, then I dont really care about the service (its only a transaction) I care about the product I take away, I can always deal with poor service myself or using another garage, bear in mind you legally have 6 months if things start to fail.

I have dealt with them a couple of times when cars they have sold to customers in this neck of the woods have had a few niggles. Jay is the consumerate professional in assuring his customers and dealing with the problems at his expense.

A few of my customers have bought cars from him and they have always been well prepared and the transaction seemless.

I think youll be ok.

I haven't bought a car from them but have known of them for many years on the forums, they have excellent cars and very very good customer service. cant say I have read anything bad about them tbh. Small family business.
