Hi I have a 2007 CLK, I can replace the emblem with the star and if so how do i go about it.

You can’t on a CLK the bonnet badge is on pins

You asked what the difference was, so I added some pics...

I much prefer the stand up "bomb-site" but in its MB's infinite wisdom they don't fit them to many UK models now. If I'd have kept my W213 I was going to fit a European radiator grill (no star) and a "bomb-site"

'bomb-site' should be 'bomb-sight' or better still, 'gun sight'.
Too many stars gets one confused.

Many decades ago i had a 57 Chevy with 2 gun sights.

Personally, I've always preferred the upright star badge (and always referred to it as gun-sight). I think a plain grille with a gun-sight badge is distinctive and gives the car "presence"
while the enormous star grill is rather over-stated.

But everyone's entitled to their own opinion!
