hi guys,

im new to the forum i recently bought a 2002 e220cdi elegence w210 to keep:D dont really know much about mercs so need some advise i have bought some genuine 18" amg alloys 8j fronts and 9j rears i need to know the correct size tyres which should be on there as they have 235 40 18 on front and 245 35 18 on the rear the tyres need replacing but not sure they are the correct size:confused: as the wheels wer of a clk and modified to fit a ce i was told and also will the exsisting bolts which are fitted to the 16" alloys i have on the car fit.

Hi,
I think the wheels of the CLK and the W210 E class share the same wheels so I think you could fit the same size tyres as a W210 E55, 275/35/18 on the rear and 245/40/18 for the front.
Take look here for info on the AMG tyre/wheel sizes.

Don,t be tempted to change the profile of the tyres as Incorrect tyre profiles can cause problems with your ABS and traction control system and associated systems.
