merc380sec playing up (fuel problem)?

Please can anyone help with my nice old C Reg Merc 380 coupe sec? She has been running beautifully until the recent hot weather and when hot (hot days only) she is a pig to start .If I leave her for 30mins she is fine . Plugs are sparking normally She will work however if i squirt the gas pedal with the ignition on and will run ok for a bit but after 3/4miles starts splutterring??? Can anyone help please I don't think its a relay prob I will change the fuel filter 2moro maybe that will solve prob but I doubt it.

I had that with my w124 and it turn out to be the ignition module. Also I have a few bosch brass injectors that will revitalize the car.
