i have an oil leak everytime i drive off to work in the mornings i notice an oil patch not to heavy but enough to cause concern. after looking under the car i noticed the sump is covered in wet oil as i looked further up towards the top of the engine i noticed oil still, where would anyone say the leak is coming from if near enough the entire engine is covered in it and should i be extremly concerned? thank you for your time

The first thing to do is to get a can of spray degreaser and clean it all off, as the fan blows it everywhere.

Possible areas are timing cover, front crankshaft seal, both not to expensive to fix. with the engine clean and the car stationery you should see where it is weeping from

Rocker cover gasket is a fave.

Give it a clean as TV says and re-inspect.
