- W208 1999 320 clk convertible
Good morning,
new to this forum and have the 1999 w208 320 clk convertible for over 7 years. Have recently replaced the hydraulic valve (small y one) in the roof cover lid as leaking and roof had been working fine.
This weekend on opening the roof the lid would not open and sounded like clicking but not releasing. I checked that the cover was closed correctly in the boot then it did open. You can guess the rest after driving in the sun and hen went to close the roof it wouldn’t open again.
Too dark then so luckily have a cover. This morning I have manually opened the lid, closed the roof. It will noe not open that lid again. I can’t see any hydraulic fluid leaking and sounds like to me something is not releasing so maybe a micro switch. I am in Surrey area and wondering if anyone has a good contact that would source this issue and repair.
