Mercedes 250D W202 exhaust

Hi

The exhaust has just gone on the car

I have had a look and it appears to have gone just after the centre box

I can't see properly but it looks like the centre and back box are one section, the ones I have looked at online seem to be seperate sections and total nearly £400!

Anyone know if there are any cheaper options?

Also is the exhaust the same as the 250D on any other c class models?

I found some stuff on GSF but it looks like they don't do the centre box, or would one of the others they list fit?

You could try getting it welded up.
I personnally would,nt put anything but the proper exhaust on there. Other C class exhausts I would,nt think would fit as diesel exhausts are normally bigger, and you still have to get another c class exhaust anyway.
£400 is not a bad price for the exhaust if thats for both boxes, I not long ago got a price for my AMG exhaust and that was in excess of £3000, so mine is definetly gonna get welded up when it goes.
Have you tried Euro car parts for a price?

GSF have what you want give them a ring i did and they had a lot of experiance and sorted my exhaust prob for me found them cheap and the quality of the parts were very good .

GSF and Euro car parts only have the back box

Can't find a centre section anywhere

Have u tried the breakers/ salvage yards. u could pick up various pieces and have them welded to fit ..its not rocket science, who needs new when nearly new will do

It's a bit of a bad situation that I can get an exhaust for my 1966 Alfa or 1983 Golf, but not my 1995 Merc!

My c220D w202 has only two exhaust sections. The front section (with catalitic converter) was £270 from mercedes parts. I received £25 from the scrap metal people for the broken exhaust.
