Mercedes AMG GT Stage 1 Tuning with Dyno....

We had this stunning Mercedes AMG GT back in with us, bit of a story with this client assumed he had become accustom with the power of his AMG GT, this however changed when we strapped to the rollers, found an exhaust flap fault and the car was making 360bhp.

Modern AMG models will heavily restrict power if exhaust valves are not functioning correctly. After a trip to main dealer they found passenger side valve was clogged with leaves and mug, after removal of these material and given a clean bill of health we strapped it back down and all the power and torque had come back.

Got to work as usual checking tyres, dif, coolant, oil and fuel quality while running diagnostics on the vehicle while letting everything cool as these run very hot and can soak while sitting very easily.

Multiple runs and sweep test along with different RPM tests.

Logs went to plan and vehicle was behaving as we would expect to the customers delight.

OEM - 456bhp and 650nm

Real - 360bhp and 646nm

Fixed - 455bhp and 686nm

Stage 1 - 588bhp and 885mm


She responded beautifully
