I found one fuse box on the Mercedes 190e located under the hood on the driver's side but did not locate any damaged fuses...I am looking for the fuse that controls the "fuel gauge" displayu....my fuel gauge always reads empty and was told the fuse is blown...i figure there must be a 2nd fuse box on this car...can someone tlel me the general location of it...and for bonus points which fuse # is responsible for the fuel gauge display?

You only have one fuse box and the fuel gauges are not fused, the problem is normally the float unit going open circuit, by grounding the wire on the fuel sender, if the meter shows full scale that proves the point
