Earlier today i press down on the parking park and it give gave way. The hand release panel is really loose and not doing anything. Like its not connected. When i press hard on the pedal it will kind of stay down but its not actually braking at all. The sensor will detect its engaged but its not doing anything and i just use my hand to raise it back up.

Can any local mechanic fix this or need to bring it Mercedes? Any idea how much this will cost?
If anyone can help me how to fix this be much appreciated.

Any mechanic can fix it.
Depending on where its snapped, it shouldn't take more than 2 hours to fix!

Find a good independent MB specialist. They will be able to sort it quickly and for less money
