Mercedes-Benz E270 CDi 2004 Car Baby Seat

Does anyone know where i can get a baby seat from, the dealers is Quoting £488+VAT or is there away of turn the passenger airbag off!!! or is there a copy seat available from any where. they are saying baby seat is needed to switch off air bag???

Check this one out.....you need to check if this seat is fitted with the transponder..............

It may or may not be possible to permanenty deactivate the passenger airbag through re-programming of the system.

However, MB childseats are fitted with an internal electronic transponder, which when the seat is placed on the front passenger seat, it causes the airbag system to be disabled and a waring light on the dash will confirm this.

You can allways buy one like everyone else and fit it in the back .If you don't want to pay stupid prices stay away from dealer accesories..
