i recently purchased a 2002 51 plate van and all went well until last weekend when i got back home there was diesel dripping from what looked like the breather pipe and there was a small amount of diesel around the injectors wondered if anyone knows what this could be before i spend hundreds of pounds on fixing things that dont need fixing

Obviously a leak, most probably the spill/return pipe along the top of the injectors, these do get hard and brittle, I think a new one is around £8..
