Hi guys ,
As title says i get car vibration after putting in first gear and release the clutch. This happens only in the morning when the car is cold, during the day the clutch works perfectly .
Any idea what could it be ?

Thanks

It could be due to a number of problems, but start with the simple.

It is possible that it is due to moisture forming on the clutch overnight.

If you have a reasonable warm garage park it in the garage overnight and see if it judders in the morning.

Oil mist can also cause a first engagement judder when cold.

Eliminate, or confirm the moisture probability first.

Rear crank seal? Any oil showing at bell housing
Possibly 1st motion shaft seal.

Maybe small leak n that's shot off by time you use other gears. Eng mountings good. Tho I wud expect judder from them to be thru near all gears at gear change.

I had this on my w115 and couldn't find any signs of a rear crank seal leaking (though that doesn't mean yours isn't leaking) I tried the select 3rd gear with hand brake applied with engine revs high and slip the clutch trick, which helped the clutch shudder in first gear take off for about a week. Finally I removed the gearbox to discover a worn pressure plate.
Once I fitted a new clutch kit all was good.

Fair call. Used to be a known issue on spring pressure plates. Not so much but still poss on diapram pressure plate.
