Hi

Can anyone tell me how to remove the black plastic engine cover on a C200K Coupe (2004 model). I can find no screws or clips but the cover seems to be held very firmly.

the front section lift and pull off, the rear sections lift off, or lift the front section up, then the rear and it will come off in one lump.

Its only held with the large spring clips like the ones for hanging tools in

Thanks both for the information. The smaller front piece seems to cover the camshaft gears and is held by bolts. Behind this is the very large cover which obscures everything and must be the bit that can be lifted off! Looks like it will need a really good pull.
