Mercedes C-class W203 Problems?

Has anybody got a similar car or knows of any likely/common problems with the following motor:
Mercedes C320 Avantgarde W203

I have had my fair share, but despite all of these I still think it's a nice, safe and quick car and would just like to think I have been unlucky and not that I have bought the wrong: Make, Model or Engine size?
Any information would be of interest good or bad!

I sourced a C220cdi for the family and its been a very good motor for them (ive driven it about 1/3rd its mileage). I no longer believe in petrol, so cant comment on the engine, but the car is sound. May have the odd problem or two because of Mercedes CEO and orderlies lining there own pockets/bonus/pensions at the expense of customers, but other than that, great car.
Problems they've had: 1 - Disc brakes needed replacing as it was parked up for 6 months, common problem with all modern cars, 2 - ABS/ESP failure / known problem, cured with a new wiring loom, 3 - damaged sensor - my fault, went to a hand car wash!
