MERCEDES C107 BRAKES

GOOD MORNING,I HAVE A 1980 C107 THE BRAKES ARE FINE WHEN THE ENGINE IS OFF,WITH A SOLID PEDAL.HOWEVER WHEN THE ENGINE IS STARTED THE PEDAL DROPS QUITE A WAY,FAR MORE THAN I EXPECT IT TO I MUST HAVE BLED THE BRAKES INC THE MASTER CYLINDER SEVERAL TIMES LEN

If you are 100% sure that there is no air in the system, then the master cylidner is likely at fault.

The brake pedal will feel soft on this model when stationary. Try pushing the pedal the same distance when driving, it may feel different.
