Dear all,

I recently bought a Mercedes C200 executive just 14 days now. Couple of days ago, the infotainment screen starts to malfunction. Suddenly it doesn't start anymore and keep restaring after a warning message as soon as it starts. I tried restarting / switching on/off etc. but no luck and the next day I have also noticed the the needle of the speedometer won't move according to the speed and get stuck at 20/40 and then drops suddenly. Again the speedometer start working by itself. However, the next morning the same issue again. I have already let the dealer know who sold the car but they didn't provide me any urgent attention until they find out the issue with speedometer as well. I took the car to the dealer this noon and they did a scan. Later i called them up again to find out what came out of scan. However, i didn't get any immediate answer. Later they called but i couldn't pick up and got a voice message saying they will arrange an appoinment with Mercedes and I need take the car. They will call tomorrow.

I am not sure how big are these problems as I am a new driver and not sure how to proceed. Should I keep the car or give it to the dealer asking refund? I need to take a decision urgent as my 14 days will be up tomorrow. Please can someone advice. I will really appreciate it!

The law allows you more than 14 days if you bought it from a dealer - just make sure you detail all the faults to the dealer with date and time in writing/email so you have an accurate record.
