I am wondering and cant decide which battery to buy.
AGM / classic ?
I checked some informations online, and found suggested both AGM and classic batteries.
The dead battery inside the car is Bosch s4 80Ah 740A.
Any suggestions?
I turn off my start-stop function all the time, I turn it on only occasionally, maybe 2-3 times a month, sometimes not even that many times.
Do you think that the AGM battery is worth more money? Difference is not that big, found Bosch s5 85Ah 800A for only like 10€-15€ more, and cant decide now

AGM If your car had AGM originally. They have different cycling characteristics to wet batteries and thus need specific electronics.

That is the problem, I am not sure if it had AGM originally. Bought the car used, and there was not AGM inside, but maybe the previous owner deicded to go cheaper..
But as far as I know, all cars with start - stop have AGM batteries.

Thank you for your advices, I would like to have one more question
I found out, that some cars need to pair new battery using diagnostics, to prevent alternator from overcharging.
I could not find any specific informations to my car, do you thing it will be necessary?

I recently fitted a: Halfords 096AGM Start/Stop AGM 12V Car Battery 5 Year Guarantee 548638 as it had a good review and a longer guarantee than Bosch. The battery didn't need any pairing. Battery fitted to my W205.

You can find lots of info on YouTube on this and other mercedes topics.

One thing I did when changing my battery was to attach one of my golf trolley batteries to the leads before disconnecting that way the electronics never lose power and you wont need to reset your radio etc.
