Mercedes C220D Estate-Detial With Ceramic Coating

This is my 2007 C220D Avantgarde Estate which I brought a few months ago as a project car.
It was in a mess both inside & out but after about 25 hours of multi stage machine polishing & a coating with Miyabi Ceramic Coating By Kamiikaze Collection it looking pretty good for a car with over 180,000 miles under it's belt.
Next job it to get the alloys reburbished, then possibly a remap.

Is the Miyabi coating easy to apply and does it need to be done indoors.

Heard good things but having to do outside I've always used CQuartz UK edition.

Hi Andys320.
Miyabi is very easy to apply, you can leave it for up to 20 minutes before buffing it off which is also super easy.
It would be possible to apply outdoors but obviously is very dependent on weather conditions & I always leave a newly coated car inside overnight to fully cure before exposing to the elements.
I topped the Miyabi with Overcoat No. 3 this morning as an extra sacrificial layer which also gives great beading.

I'm not sure even 25hrs would be enough - but if you'd like to prove me wrong......

Thanks for that, can you add an extra layer after an hourto protect coating, much as reload is used to protect CQuartz?

You can apply another layer of Miyabi after an hour but I just did one coating & then after a couple of days of being inside my unit I added a layer of Kamikaze Overcoat No. 3.
It's important not to wash the car for at least 5 days after any ceramic coating & if possible always stay away from the £5 hand car wash places.
