Hello members,

Mercedes C63 AMG 6.2 V8 Stage 2 the other day.

Got to work as usual checking tyres, dif, coolent, oil and fuel quality while running diagnostics on the vehicle while letting everything cool as these run very hot and can soak while sitting very easily.

Please remember our AMG sale is still on!

Customer brought it to us with Filters, secondary decat and resonator delete!

Multiple runs and sweep test along with different RPM tests.

Logs went to plan and vehicle was behaving as we would expect to the customers delight.

All data logging and communication is completed via OBD port.

Gaining an extra +57bhp and +64nm

Below are plots, shots and runs....

For any enquires please feel free to pop an email over to info@gadtuning.co.uk or call direct on 05603 67 21 09

Just goes to show how much potential there is an the 4.0 M177 engine compared to the old M156 unless you spend a five figure sum of cash.
Biturbo is the way to go.

I concur! The fact I can achieve 30+mpg whilst ferrying my wife's elderly aunt around is something the M156 would struggle with. I love mine, especially with Anthony's magic added!

Yes correct its the physics behind it all, when you can control air coming in as long as cooling is adequate of course you are improving Volumetric efficiency.

When we had our two M156 engines stage 2 with bits removed we could barely scratch 27mpg on a very soft run. As a comparison our M4 Stage 2 with exhaust and intakes could just scratch 40mpg on a run

I don't disagree with the above comments, in respect to tuning potential, but imho, the naturally aspirated M156 sound cannot be beaten!
