Mercedes CLK 2003 Headlight problem

Hey.

Iam not so good in english but i hope you understand .

I buy few weeks ago Mercedes CLK 200 Kompressor 2003 with few fails.

One of them is Headlight. I chcecked Bulbs and i find out is no bulbs inside no conector nothing just 2 cables nothing more ..... and now i dont know if is xenon or normal light. .. Someone know what i can do ? Thank you very much for help.

I would go ask the ask the seller WTF is this bodge job.

post a pic up and how does it compare to the other headlight.

Are all the looms / connectors intact

Hello and welcome

You could do an online vin check and that will show what headlights it was fitted with originally.

I’d probably search out a breakers and get a new headlight and associated wiring.

Looks like the connectors have been cut off and replaced with crimp connectors.

Going by the metal clip that holds the bulb in place ,I’d says it’s a H7 bulb hence the 2 make shift crimped terminals now .
I’d also say the OE connector has probably melted at some point and again hence the crimps.

OP compare to the other side so you can determine whats right/wrong and what needs to be done to put it correct.
