Mercedes (clk) order codes

Hi everyone. I would like to know if anyone can tell me what the order codes 801 and 984 mean? 801 is listed as "change of year of model, last figure shows new model year". 984 is listed as "elimination of ownership certificate but with coc papers (с 01.06.1993)"
I have a CLK230 Cab lhd and these are on the spec sheet located by the vin number. Many thanks!

I think that 984 just means that only certain papers are issued, depending on where the car is shipped to from new.

801 is what is says in that the model had some changes during that year
