CLS AMG Shooting Brake 2013 2.1 litre Diesel
I am trying to access the rear light cluster on my 2013 CLS Shooting brake. I've viewed all the info on the web, but there is no specific review of accessing the light cluster? I am only looking for the reversing light circuit as I am installing an after market wireless rear view camera (no rear view camera fitted to my model). I have managed to remove some of the trim without any problems, but the shooting brake has a boot trim that seems to cover access to the rear light cluster? I can't see how the rest of the trim is removed and don't want to damage anything. Any clues? For those that may comment on installing a rear view camera via the Command module installed in the car, I have set the parameters to include this, but removing the dash trim has been an issue (despite an excellent couple of vids I've seen). I also didn't fancy running wiring from the Command module through to the rear camera, hence opting for a wireless kit., Many thanks for any advice and photos/videos would be much appreciated. In the meantime I'll persevere (carefully). Another option maybe to find the reverse light wiring running across the rear of the motor, so a wiring diagram might be helpful? If I do find a solution by my own efforts I will take photos to share my experience!
