Mercedes Comand

Hi

I have just had an aftermarket Mercedes Comand Unit installed in my '52' plate ML270CDI.

Can anyone help me with the following?

Does the automatic volume increase occur when increasing speed? or does this feature have to be activated manually?

How do I know what version of the software my Comand is running? how do I obtain an update?

What is the difference between the Comand DX and the Comand APS?

Hi

auto volume increase is coded in the command unit via the star machine

software updates via MB or new satnav disc's via teleatlas

command and APS are two different systems but the later disc does both hence its called Command/aps navi DVD

hi sorry to trouble you but I have a 2002 ML270CDi and would like to have a command fitted to it. Where did you get yours done? Is it up to expectations?
