Hi all, I've purchased a Mercedes e220d 2017 with airbag damage I've replaced all airbags and seat belts and ignition comes on but does not start as needs to go on a mb star machine anyone around Leicester who can have a look? Thanks

Airbag damage, in that they've gone off to protect the driver and passengers?

Do modern cars still have an inertia switch to cut off the fuel pump in a crash? I remember on older cars you used to have to reset it after a bump to get fuel again.

They do, hence the need for STAR to reactivate.
Afraid with a 2017 car you're probably going to need star with an online connection to Germany, I'd offer my STAR but it's unfortunately just a little too old for your car being software version from 2016

So no button under the rear sill anymore? That was a much easier system than needing a diagnostic machine.
