hello people, am new here and dont no how these things work,

getting to the point i ahve a mercedes benz e240 w reg and the problem is the temperature and where you can see what gear your in has gone all funny, ive seen it n a few cars of the same make and model does any one why that happens and how muh is it to replae it or is it repairable?

it's not a tektie grey W reg E240 is it???? Mine was doing it when I sold it - anyway - as above or google bba-reman who also do them. MB wanted £600 + fitting (£another £100) for a replacement. I beliueve repairs are around £200 ish..
