Hi guys.
help is required. I feel so stupid.
is there any way that I can spin the discs on my glc auto when I have it jacked up.
one wheel at a time.
it always seems to be in park, in gear and parking brake on.

Sold - 2021 CLA 35 Premium.
Speaking for my own car the electronic parking brake can be disabled by pulling on the release button at the same time as turning off the engine, which I do frequently.
Unfortunately though I am not aware of any way to turn off the engine without the gearbox automatically selecting park.

is there not an option on the dash cluster for replacing the rear pads? My ML has, so maybe your GLC has too.

I'm surprised that the same manufacture has different cars doing different things ... the electric parking brake on mine does not automatically apply itself.

Edit - Google/You Tube ....

This is from the manual under the section about towing. Should work for what you want to do:

The automatic transmission automatically shifts to position P when you open the driver's or front-passenger door and when you remove the key from the ignition lock.

You must use the key instead of the Start/Stop button. Turn the key to position 2 in the ignition lock. When the vehicle is stationary, depress the brake pedal and keep it depressed. Shift the automatic transmission to position N.

Then release the brake pedal and disengage the electric parking brake. Leave the key in position 2 in the ignition lock.
