Mercedes Me portal - Software updates

Does any one know anything about the Software updates pages on the Me Portal.

I have noticed this a few weeks ago and I see every time I go there it tells me it down for maintenance.

Mine shows the last update details - which was August last year:

Yep and they always say that they are bringing exciting new features and it seems to have been made more difficult to access the car - have to get through the showroom first.

And now mine has started sending me messages to say that the car is unlocked and do I want to lock it....when it is quite clearly already locked. Irritating

Mine is doing the same thing, normally about an 1hr after I have unlocked and relocked it.

I think this is an issue with the new 2020 iPhone app, or the servers are very slow.

I’m getting those symptoms too. Unlocked - no it’s not! Also telling me that my alarm is going off - no it’s not!
Mine is going in to the dealers next week to sort out the issues (hopefully) and also that the driver’s seat bottom is not heating up. Back is ok, just not the seat.
It’s very frustrating being told that the car is unlocked and the alarm is going when clearly they are not.
Come on Mercedes - The Best or Nothing? I think I know what I have at this moment in time.

I will delete the 2020 app and use the old version for a couple of days and see if i still get the same message.

Very Interesting as I know I had a software update in Mid December and it was loads of updates some 263 it looked like MB had never done an update to this car since it was handed to the first owner.....

What annoys me with MM is that from next year I'll have to pay ~£80-00 for 11 features of which, I can only use 5. I've questioned (MB UK) why they don't charge on a per item basis and get the usual corporate bs runaround.

For the use it been I may as well remove the device from the OBD port.
It shows nothing except mileage and days to next service and thats about it.
No locking feature, mileage not displayed, and that is the updated 2020 version.
Very poor app indeed for me.

I certainly wouldn't pay for it as it stands now.

I think it depends on year and model as to what features the car is capable of as too which options you get in the app.

After 263 updates, it sounds like you’ve crashed your part of the system

For sure, the inbuilt Mercedes Me in later models like yours appear to have far more functionality.

Except I do like some of the features - especially the Geofencing.

I’m not getting any false notifications on either app - at the moment!
