Mercedes me

I am trying to pair my car with the Mercedes me app. My iPad/phone are telling me to press the call button on the overhead panel, the only one I have is the SOS button which it says DONT press. What do I do?

I am on my second new Mercedes using the latest Mercedes me app (2020 on) and both of mine were set up by my dealer and it is linked to your VIN number.
All I had to do was download the app to my phone then initially register/log in and all was set up perfectly.

Thanks, I did my GLA 45 myself, no problem. I have put the VIN number in and my registration number. It just says call to pair. I’ll have to take it in to my local dealer, even though I didn’t buy it from them. ‍

I try to pair the adapter in my Vito W447, but get the error code IBN_E008_000 and IBN_E008_110 all the time. Still not managed to use it...

If the car is not brand new them its quite likely still paired up with the previous owner.

The best bet is to go into a Mercedes dealer with the V5 document, proof of identity and residence and ask them to sort it. I did just this with two of my cars and they sorted it there and then.

I bought a SLC AMG from Lloyds Premium Cars. I am unable to get the Mercedes me app to work.
Why won’t the Mercedes dealers talk to me? Tried 2 now and they don’t seem to be interested.

Apparently you can call MB Customer Services from the car - see attached screen shot from the SLC Manual.

Took it into Mercede Benz of Blackpool, they couldn’t have been more helpful. All sorted except the tyre pressures and mileage information are missing From my phone. Any ideas?

Thats strange because Trip Data and Tyre pressure is an integral part of the app.
Are they definitely not there even when you click More?
Occasionally the app for me has had glitches where the look of it changed and all my favourites disappeared, but it was only temporary and it returned to normal soon after.
Always make sure you have the most up to date version of the app.

I have just updated my app to version 1.20.2 and Tyre pressure has disappeared.

Back to sqare one. Deleted the car and tried again. Need to start again but can’t access the websit. ‍ Telling me again to press the button I don’t have.

As suggested, I rang Mercedes me from my car. A great guy helped me through it. Then had to go for a short drive to get the mileage and tyre pressures to show. Simple really.

Thats great you have it working perfectly now.
What did the guy actually do, or tell you to do?
