Mercedes Ml 270 cdi W163 2002 wheel and tyre modifications....Help

I have a Mercedes Ml 270 cdi W163 2002 with alloy wheels 275 55 17 tyres fitted on it
I want to fit bigger alloys and tyres onto my vehicle, preferably All weather type
Can you suggest which size alloys and tyres would be compatible with my vehicle
I generally do town driving mostly and occasional short motorway trips etc
So in the wheels aspect, what are the size or codes to look for and the tyres details too

Have a look at the wiiltheyfit website - that should give you various size options.

Personally, I'd not go above 18", which will also give you a good number of tyre options at sensible cost.

All weather tyres - I've got Falken Euro All Season (210 IIRC) as my winter options and they've done well for 2 seasons. Uniroyal do the MS77 (I think that's correct), or you can look at Cross Climates.

I read this week that BF Goodrich do an Urban All Terrain, which may suit you well to...
