Mercedes Rental - Where can I hire another Merc for a day or

I'm thinking of buying an SLK (I go through these phases...!) and would like to rent one for a weekend. I get treated like a yoof when I go to the local dealer (I went in to book a service and vowed never to hand over my hard-earned to them!!!) (yes, I'll get in touch Andy!), and that despite turning up in a Merc?!

They won't let me take one out for more than a couple of hours, so I am looking for one on day-hire.

It could be a few months before I really want to hand-over any cash, but I propose to enjoy the research!!

Dont know your local area R10 but I recall that there are hire firms in the Home counties.Why not try one of the big hire firms that operate near Airports for starters?

Your best bet it to do a search on the net for "Mercedes Hire" you are bound to get firms all over the place gagging to take your cash.

Mny years ago a mate of mine was considering getting an XR3i when they were a new model, he hired one from somewhere near Gatwick, that specialised in "sports" car hire, they also did Ferrari, porsche etc.

I'm visiting him in the Asylum this weekend, i'll see if he remembers who they are.
