Just bought a 56 plate C180 saloon. The warranty ends in October. What is the position with the Merc rescue? I have also put a private reg on the car do I have to notify them? Thanks!:D

You can still have the car serviced by MB then you get the moblo cover, or you could use an Indie and use the RAC

The cover from AA/RAC is more comprehensive. Mobilio (MBs service) has some unpleasant restrictions I believe - lost keys, flat tyres for example. It's mainly for mechanical failure. It's automatically renewed every dealer service and unrenewed every indie one so you can switch in and out at will. It depends on what cover you need really. Cost wise there shouldn't be much in it - indie service + AA subs or Dealer service though with negotiation the dealer probably has the edge at the moment.
