Mercedes Rust Warranty

Evening hope all is well,

I own a mercedes w208 clk 320 on an R plate and i love it!! and am hoping to keep the car forever if i can.

I have noticed some rust appearing on the arches and am wondering if this is covered by the lifetime rust warranty?. I actually dont know if such a thing exists ive heard rumors about this but cant get confirmation so decided to post my question here.

Its got full mercedes history up to 80k miles, and mercedes specialist after, it hasn't missed 1 service.

Does such a thing exist? where can i find more information and does my car qualify for it?

pop into a dealer and ask if they not helpful then go to a different dealer keep going til you hear what you want its gotta be worth a try

R is 1997 - thats 12 years old so sorry, no they won't cover you.
The limit tends to be around 8 years with a full MB service history. It's always worth an ask but I wouldn't expect a positive result.

The lifetime warrenty came in in October 1998. Cars prior to this it's 8 years max.
