Mercedes S280 1995 Door Lock Problem

I came to lock my drivers door the other day and nothing happened. There was no resitance as usual. I would be grateful for advice on an economical repair! I am located near Pontefract SE Leeds.

Have you tried your local Automotive Locksmith ? Check out the Automotive Locksmiths Association website to get your nearest centre. I have used them in the past when I locked my keys in the truck of my C Class. Mercedes Dealer told it would be 7-10day before he could supply a key to unlock it . A friend of mine told me about the ALA and sure enough one of there guys arrived & made me a key on site to unlock the trunk. Great service with no damage to my car .
