Mercedes servicing in N.W England

Can anyone recommend somewhere close to Liverpool to carry out maintenance on my mercedes.

If you fancy doing a run up the M62, I take my SLK to a company called SPR Autos, they've just moved to Stockport. I know its not exactly Liverpool, but I haven't been able to find any other decent Merc specialists round the area.

Service and workmanship are first rate, although there was a lengthy waiting list last time I took my car there. Phone numbers 0161 480 6095. Would be interested if any one else has any suggestions for people around the northwest.

S+R Motors just quoted me £565 + VAT to do the head on mine which is a good deal cheaper than I thought it was going to be. Life ain't so bad after all.
