Mercedes servicing UK...

I have just bought a CLK200 Komp Convertible 52 plate, I have stretched myself financially to get it, the dealership said if it isnt serviced by Mercedes the price will drop dramatically, is this true?
Also what can I expect to pay for a service both A and B

Ask yourself, would you pay the same for a car with a hit and miss service record as you would for a car with a fully stamped on time MB service record, I wouldn't but that could be just me.

It may have been wise to have checked the running costs associated with the car prior to purchase, too late now i guess.
