I recently purchased a Mercedes SK 1824AK and I am having trouble finding a manual for my vehicle. To complicate matters, it seems that my vehicle has an OM401.984 engine rather than the more standard OM44X.
I download the WIS/EPC. I'm after the shop manual, the how-to document so to speak. So I downloaded the WIS thinking this would be the way. However I'm having issues finding information which is specific to my truck.
Process-
1. Entered my vehicle vin up at the top
2. Clicked on MSS
3. Selected "Maintenance docs..."
4. Pressed "Display maintenance documents" up on the header
5.Dropped down the "put vehicle back in operation" folder. This is where it shows me multiple options for say Engine Oil Change. Looking at the validity - none of the multiple engine oil and oil filter change folders are the OM401LA...
Am I missing a step that you guys know of?
