W204 C250 CGI petrol facelift saloon 61k miles, requires head gasket replacement due to an oil leak, diagnosed by a couple of garages who've confirmed it's definitely the head gasket not the rocker cover gasket etc.

Apparently it's not something most people have come across, for a head gasket to leak and not willing to take on the job

Looking for recommendations, given the nature of the job willing to travel further afield if necessary to ensure the job is done properly by a specialist

MSL would be OK, as suggested above, though they are in Birmingham (Small Heath) so possibly a bit far?

Another option for you could be Mercland at Nuneaton. The owner is a long term member on this forum and is a highly respected Mercedes specialist.
