Hello

I've recently bought a C250 TD auto, just run in at almost 200,000 miles. I'm looking for a specialist to service it in either the Cambridgeshire or Yeovil areas (where I work during the week). Can anyone recommend or suggest somewhere to go.

Thanks for your time.

We are in Essex, but we do have customers coming from CAMBS, if its any help.

Cheers,

Simon

Hi niva441

How does your C250TD auto feel and perform after 200,000 miles?

Do you know its history and have there been any major problems?

REGARDS Phil

Wonderful!

I bought it with 193,000. I only meant to test drive it to see how it compared to a W203, thinking I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole at that mileage. But I was so impressed with the taughtness of the drive and how solid the whole car looked and felt I had to have it. Otherwise I'd have bought a 220CDi, the 5 cylinder power and smoothness is much much better and well worth the extra 5mpg.

The only sign of aging is that the drivers seat has settled slightly (although I believe they were always firm) and I had the wipers rain sensor disconnected (it initially had 2 wiper 1st speeds and I don't need a computer to tell me when the screens wet). Reviewing the service history that came with it there have been no unusual major things needing replacing and the last service cost me a few extras but nothing unusual (steering damper, rear discs and tyres).

The only problem with it is what am I going to replace it with.
