Hi. I have a 2014 mercedes sprinter. I changed the alternator a couple of weeks ago as I kept having a message come up saying alternator/ battery issue . The radio would sometimes just go of aswell and then turn straight back on. I've even had it turn of if the rear wheels spun slightly , So I changed the alternator and it has all be fine since. Until today. Driving along and then suddenly I lost all electrical power . Esp not available came up and then went out and a couple of other lights. The engine never cut out. Just judders and everything electrical goes mad. You can hear the blowers power drop aswell. Not sure what going on now. I have so far checked the battery connection and the earth to the alternator and both are nice and tight. Does anyone have any suggestions.,? Thanks

I’d be going through the negative leads and ensuring the connections are really good and that there’s no corrosion.
If any of the main leads (positive or negative) have black corrosion then they will be giving high resistance - which gets worse as they get warm.

To and from the battery, to and from the alternator, to and from the starter and the negative to the engine and chassis

I would be checking the ignition switch connections as well just due to the fact the radio goes off and on as well.
Jeep model I own had a recall for ignition switch and symptoms were loss of radio and oddly the heater blower shutting off and on and rev counter would drop slowly and come back to life
